Steve Honner
OPERATIONS
With 30 years of leadership in the Fast Casual restaurant segment, Steve has built a career on driving operational excellence and strong financial results through positivity and the growth and development of his leaders — achievements that include 0% management turnover over a three-year span and back-to-back #1 financial region performance with over $100M in sales. He has opened more than 30 restaurants, led staff transitions through franchise acquisitions, and developed operational systems and processes that were successfully rolled out nationwide. Prior to joining RS Group, Steve served as Director of Operations for a Qdoba franchise group spanning 9 districts across 8 states, where he upheld franchise and corporate standards in health and safety, regulatory compliance, and company policy, while reducing employment redundancy and eliminating operational food waste. He also built a community engagement process that drove lasting top-line sales growth and strengthened consumer sentiment, going beyond day-to-day KPI tracking to implement the operational changes needed to move those numbers. For Steve, nothing is more rewarding than seeing a direct report earn a promotion or achieve something they hadn't believed possible for themselves.
Chris Luckhaupt, CPA
ACCOUNTING
Chris Luckhaupt has led the accounting services at RS Group since October 2024, bringing over 15 years of public accounting experience to the team. Before joining RS Group, Chris built and managed the Client Accounting and Advisory Services practice at Cassady Schiller (now KSM) in Cincinnati, OH, where he developed deep expertise in the Restaurant365 platform, oversaw accounting for 20+ clients across the restaurant, hospitality, and other industries, and served as the firm's go-to expert on PPP, ERC, and other pandemic-relief programs. He began his career at EY, specializing in tax services. A Certified Public Accountant and University of Dayton graduate (BS in Accounting and Management Information Systems), Chris is known for his client-first approach — taking the time to make complex financial concepts accessible — and applies Lean Six Sigma principles to streamline accounting processes. With more than five years of hands-on Restaurant365 implementation and consulting experience, he specializes in the restaurant and hospitality industry while drawing on his broad background to advise clients across many sectors.
Megan Mitchell
PAYROLL
Megan officially joined RS Group in February 2025, overseeing all human resources and payroll functions, and brings a wealth of experience since 2016 across organizations ranging from multi-billion-dollar enterprises to newly established franchises. Before formally joining the team, Megan served as RS Group's dedicated third-party payroll processor, working closely with over 37 clients nationwide — from construction companies to high-end restaurants — to process weekly payroll and deliver hands-on customer service, developing deep expertise in multi-state payroll complexities, tax compliance, and accurate, timely processing across varied pay schedules. That dual perspective, as both service provider and client, gives Megan a unique ability to build processes and foundations that deliver exceptional HR and payroll experiences. She is deeply committed to RS Group's culture and to fostering trusting, collaborative relationships with clients, with a clear goal: empowering clients to focus on growing their business while knowing their HR and payroll needs are expertly managed. Megan holds a Bachelor of Administration in Human Resources Management from Friends University in Wichita, KS.
Charlotte Marshall
ACCOUNTING & PAYROLL ASSOCIATE
Charlotte brings over five years of hands-on accounting and payroll experience across a range of fast-paced industries. Most recently serving as Accounting Supervisor at Justice AV Solutions, Charlotte managed full-cycle accounting operations, including bi-weekly payroll processing for 100+ employees via ADP, commission and prevailing wage calculations, accounts payable, vendor and customer collections, and sales and compliance tax filings across 30+ states and Canada. Her expertise extends to month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support, along with state and federal compliance management. Earlier roles in service coordination, inventory management, and warranty processing further sharpened her versatility across accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, and JD Edwards. Known for her attention to detail and process-driven approach, Charlotte combines broad operational experience with a strong foundation in accounting best practices to deliver accurate, efficient results.
